We are live and released ShortTalks 2.20 version. The new things are:
- Simpler connecting procedure to phones. The application will search through all COM ports of a computer and present a list of available modems.
- Now ShortTalks works with Vista operating system.
- The arrival time has been added to the SMS messages list.
- Decoding alphanumeric sequence in place of sender address digits. Also encoding alphanumeric sequence when storing message to the phone.
- There are several other improvements and bug fixes.
We recommend to all users to download and install the new version. You should uninstall the previous version.

ShortTalks 2.10 version released. The changes are:
- An option for automatic choosing the message coding has been added. The choice bases on typed characters for a new message. If typed characters are only ASCII characters, the coding is the GSM coding (160 characters per one SMS message); otherwise, the coding is the Unicode coding (70 characters per one SMS message).
- A conference file now has the UTF-8 coding and a simpler structure.
- The support of the SonyEricsson K750i phone model have been improved.
- There are several other visual and functional improvements.
We recommend to all users to download and install the new version. It may be installed without prior uninstalling the previous version.

ShortTalks 2.00 version released. The changes are:
- Email functions have been added. Now you can send/recieve text email letters as you do SMS messages. Of course, it requires an internet connection and an email account. Email functionality is available only under Windows 2000/XP operating systems.
- Compatability with phones has been widened. It is now possible to work with Motorola RAZR V3 and Samsung E770 cell phones.
- Stability of data exchanging between a computer and a phone was improved.
- There are few other minor tweaks.

The new 1.10 version of ShortTalks was released. The changes are:
- The whole new functionality was added. Now you can browse, add and delete SMS messages stored in your phone's memories. Using these features you can easily load your cell phone with valuable information or prepare SMS templates for utilizing on the road. And concatenating several messages, it is possible to save relatively large documents in the phone.
- The core function was improved. Sending out bulk SMS messages is done much faster now.
- It is possible to compose a flash-SMS message with the Unicode coding.
- There are many minor tweaks.

The first stable version has been released. To download ShortTalks ver. 1.0 click here. This version has the following advantages over the previous one:
- Bug fixed: can not connect through Infrared device
- Help file added to the program. While using the application, press F1 to see context help topic.
This version may be installed without prior uninstalling the previous version.

A new version of the ShortTalks application has been released. Its number is 0.91b. To download it click here. This is still a beta version but it has many enhancements over the previous one. The most significant changes are:
- Bug fixed: can not open COM ports with number 10 and over
- Bug fixed: incorrect processing error answer from phone
- Bug fixed: black text fields when open non existing file
- Limits on sizes of new message and log have been raised up to 2 Gb each (from 32 Kb)
- Implemented Find function. It is now possible to search for text phrases within one conference or all open conferences
- Added the possibility to associate .STK files with ShortTalks application at installation and the possibility to specify .STK files in command line (delimited by semicolon)
- Many improvements concerning fonts, including possibility to direct specify char set of the fonts
- Many minor user interface tweaks
At the same time there is a bug that have not been fixed yet. It is our first priority to fix this bug:
- Can not connect through Infrared device
We recommend to all users to switch to the new version. This version may be installed without prior uninstalling the previous version.
