To register do the following:
Step 1. To find out the IMEI:
- Start ShortTalks.
- Connect to your phone.
- Select 'Help->Register' menu item. At this point, if it is all right, you have to see the Register form with filled out the IMEI field (15 digits) and blank other two fields. Leave the form as it is or copy the IMEI to another place (e.g. Notepad). When copying we recommend that you use copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) key combinations to eliminate mistakes.
- Proceed to Step 2 .
Step 2. To buy a product key click on the following button and follow the onscreen instructions. When you will been requested an IMEI number, input the IMEI that you found out in Step 1. When inputting we recommend that you use copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) key combinations to eliminate mistakes.

Step 3. After completing Step 2, within 48 hours, you will get an e-mail with the product key (a 25 alphanumeric characters string). To proceed with the registration do the following:
- Start ShortTalks.
- Connect to your phone.
- Select 'Help->Register' menu item, fill out 'Your Name' and 'Product Key' fields in the Register form with appropriate information from the received letter, press 'OK' button. Once again, when inputting we recommend that you use copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) key combinations to eliminate mistakes.
Step 4. To ensure that the registration is correct, do the following:
- Reconnect (disconnect and then connect again) ShortTalks to your phone.
- Try to create new (or open) five Talk windows. If you can do it, the registration is successful.
